However, I found the acoustics quite noisy and some furnishings below expectations. Overall, it was a nice experience but could use some improvements in comfort.

I recently stayed at Hotel Boutique Santa Elena and enjoyed the warm hospitality and historical charm. however, the comfort of the room left much to be desired. The building’s design is gorgeous, with ornate doors and a good façade, but the noise level from the street and lobby was bothersome. Overall, it’s a great choice for a short visit to Mérida, but I probably wouldn't opt for a longer stay due to some discomforts.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Boutique Santa Elena. The charm of the historic building and the friendly staff were highlights, but I struggled with the noise levels and room conditions. While my stay was enjoyable, especially with its convenient location, I wouldn't recommend it for a lengthy visit due to comfort issues.

My suite had stunning glass inserts on the main door, but it was quite bright throughout the night, so a sleep mask is a must if you're sensitive to light. The acoustics were poor, with noise easily traveling from the street and lobby, making it tough to get restful sleep.
